Welcome back Croft families and a warm welcome to our new Colts! I hope everyone had a wonderful summer and you’re ready for an amazing school year! It’s hard to believe we’re already nearing the end of September. It’s been a super busy month!
Your PTA has been hard at work reimagining everything, from how the PTA serves our school to how the PTA interacts with our Croft community. The entire PTA board is new. Together with Mrs. Morris, who came to Croft in January, we have taken a hard look at how we function and made changes that we feel will contribute to a positive and enriching environment for our children to thrive.
So what does that mean for parents? For our new parents it means that we welcome your ideas and opinions on how we can make the school even greater. For our veteran parents, it means we want you to take a fresh look at our PTA and how we can partner to ensure that Croft lives up to its middle name: Community.
A new school year always brings anticipation and excitement and, as your PTA President, I challenge each of you to take some time this year to make a difference. Volunteer in your classroom, get involved with the PTA, attend monthly PTA meetings, tutor or read to a class. Come join us and let’s make a difference together. Let’s DO MORE.
Please email me if you have any questions, suggestions, or ideas! And make sure you continue to follow your PTA on Facebook! I look forward to meeting and working with each of you!
