The Croft PTA was unable to meet quorum (minimum attendance requirements) at its last meeting of 2016-17, and was not able to officially elect the PTA board for 2017-18 at that time. The Nominating Committee recommended parents to the available board seats. Over the summer we had a two seats vacated. All board seats will be need to be filled at the first PTA meeting of 2017-18, which will be held at the beginning of Curriculum Night on Sept. 19.
Here are the board seats and the Nominating Committee results for each:

- Vice President & Parent Action Committee Chair: Angela Brinkley
- Vice President & Social Event Chair: (empty)
- Vice President & Fundraising Chair: (empty)
- Secretary & Staff Support Chair: Annika Driessen
- Treasurer & Communications Chair: Jessica Norman
If you would like to be nominated, please complete the form below or leave a note with your contact information at the front office. Nominations will be accepted until the end of the school day on Sept. 19, then we will accept nominations from the floor during the PTA meeting.
PTA Executive Board Requirements
PTA Executive Board members meet once per month to discuss upcoming events and make decisions regarding PTA activities. This is in addition to the general PTA meetings held just before school events (these are posted in the calendar).
Social Event Chair
The Social Events chair oversees all extracurricular events during the school year. This chair recruits volunteers to help with the set up, hosting and break down of all events. These events are already set in the calendar and many volunteers have already voiced their interest. This chair would oversee execution.
The Fundraising chair oversees all fundraising events (raffle, spirit nights, Book Fairs, Fun Run). These events are already scheduled and many volunteers have voiced an interest in helping. The Fundraising chair would recruit additional volunteers as needed and give updates on fundraising efforts to the executive board. All money transactions are the responsibility of the treasurer, so financial collection or reporting experience is not required.
